Milk of the Dragon

Once you’ve announced all of your titles, you’re going to be thirsty. This exotic combination of dragon fruit and gin will have you ready for your second rebirth. The Unburnt is ready to get lit tonight!

Serves 1

½ dragon fruit
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
1.5 oz gin

Dragon fruit is a crazy-looking cactus that’s indigenous to the Americas, but you can find it in most Asian supermarkets. To prepare, cut off the ends of the fruit and slice off the thick skin. Cube fruit. Although the skin of the dragon fruit is insanely colorful, the fruit is more mild with a bit of sweetness. Think of it as an alcoholic smoothie where the gin is the star. Add dragon fruit to cocktail shaker and muddle with lime juice. Add simple syrup, gin, and ice, and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain into rocks glass. Garnish with dragon fruit.
